Hello,

I was a child when my Nana expressed that I would be a Journalist one day. I was around 6 years old and wondered what that would mean for me. Fast forward to 2017, I'm ending my sophomore year at Cal State University Northridge and I felt lost. I entered as an art major because I have always been gifted in that area, but I never felt comfortable in my decision. I prayed about it and was reminded of what my Nana spoke over me years before. So I went for it! At first I was confused and didn't know where I would fit in in the world of Journalism. The first few courses I took were not interesting to me and I started to doubt my major change. That was until I sat in on a news reporting class and fell in love. I hit the ground running, learning the craft, producing stories and studying alongside many amazing students & professors. From there, I decided to produce my very own talk show out of my dorm called, "NEXT UP." I had 8/9 classes at the time and a job on campus but still managed to push out around 50 + interviews! Chaotic schedule..? Yes, but I absolutely loved it! Since then it has been an unexpected journey. I've interviewed every day people, celebrities, talent on Netflix, Disney, ABC and more. I am lead by story, not by popularity! I'm beyond grateful that Jesus has never left my side in this whole journey and I hope to continue to represent Him well in every room I enter.
